New Year!

by Blue Ridge Books on 12/29/12

We'd like to thank all of our customers that helped make 2012 a great year for Blue Ridge Books.  We had some of the biggest events we've ever held including Ron Rash, Sharyn McCrumb, Pink Tea Parties, and more!

We will continue having great events, books, coffee, tea, and plenty of new tricks up our sleeves for 2013.

We will be closing at 4:00pm on New Years Eve and closed New Years day.

Happy New Year,

Blue Ridge Books

Meet Tim Swink
Former attorney investigator and author, Tim Swink will read from his debut novel, Curing Time.   “Curing time” is tobacco's season of harvest, a time of transformation, when the leaf is made golden by subjection to fire and heat. In this novel set in North Carolina, tobacco farmer Hume Rankin endures his own curing time in the summer of 1959. When the rains won't come and the crops wilt in the field, he solicits the magic of an old, blind black woman.
